Finally Friday
10.24.2014

It’s finally Friday and time to celebrate two whole days to myself.  Oh how luxurious having these two days to spend as I choose.  I’m like a child with ten whole cents at the penny candy counter; I weigh my options with the utmost care and only after careful consideration I make my final selection.

This weekend I’m blessed enough to have my brother, Patrick, wife Eileen and my Mumzie and Pa coming over in the morning.  Pat has been graciously coerced into installing a pellet stove (I got for free) in my art studio, which will open up the coming winter season for my new painting space.  Although I don’t feel truly ready for the students I hope to teach, the pellet stove will create heat making my this new space more useable during the winter months to come.  Since winter around these parts seems to go on and on … and on… I am grateful beyond measure for this gift of time being given to me.  I haven’t a clue how to install a pellet stove … Pat is my God-send – that is for certain.

Truth be known I absolutely hate imposing on family and friends and this weekend is no different.  Their weekends are luxurious for them too and time is always so short.  I wish there was some way beyond a shared meal to repay this generosity of time and expertise.  I’m speechless with gratitude.
